Android distribution numbers for June 2015 have been updated, and fortunately, Lollipop now powers more than 10% of all Android-powered devices. In May 2015, Lollipop was powering close to 10% of all devices, but now that number has grown up to 12%. It's not much though, but it's a welcome development.
Jelly Bean and KitKat still occupy a large part of Android-powered devices, with Jelly Bean struggling below KitKat at 37.4% and 39.2 respectively. The remaining numbers are shared between much older versions of Android. Ice Cream Sandwich has fallen to 5.1% from 5.3%. Gingerbread also is down to 5.6% from 5.7%. Meanwhile, Froyo still stands unchanged at 0.3%.
