LG, Sony and other Android makers will pre-install Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive on their Android tablets

Microsoft has released a list of Android device manufacturers that will pre-install some of its Apps on their tablets. Surprisingly, LG and Sony are the only well known manufacturers on Microsoft’s list, the rest are irrelevant or are only relevant in their regions. Check out the list:

  • DL – Brazil
  • General Procurement – United States
  • Grupo Nucleo – Argentina
  • Haier – China
  • Inco – Mexico
  • Ionik GBMH – Germany
  • Iview – United States and Latam
  • LG – Global
  • Multilaser – Brazil
  • Noblex – Argentina
  • Pacific (Vulcan) – Mexico
  • Philco – Argentina
  • Positivo – Brazil
  • Prestigio – EMEA
  • Sony – Global
  • Teclast – China
  • TMAX Digital – North America
  • Wortmannn – Germany
LG will pre-install Microsoft apps on its upcoming tablet, while Sony will do it on the Xperia Z4 Tablet. To be specific, the Microsoft-made apps that will be pre-installed on these listed manufacturers Android-powered tables include the main Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote) Skype and OneDrive.

Furthermore, Microsoft also announced that Cortana will be released as a standalone app on Android and iOS.
