Global availability of the LG G4 begins this week

LG has announced that its flagship smartphone, the G4, will start rolling out around the globe this week. According to LG, the rollout will continue throughout the month into June and beyond and the first country to get it will be  Hong Kong, followed by Turkey, Russia and Singapore. The rollout will later proceed to most of Europe, North America, CIS and South/Central America. The Korean manufacturer has partnered with up to 180 carriers and retailers to offer the device.

Key features of the LG G4 includes: 16-megapixel rear camera featuring a rare F1.8 aperture lens, OIS, CSS, and a new Manual Mode. 8-megapixel front-facing camera with gesture support. 5.5-inch Vivid IPS Quantum display which offers 20% greater colors reproduction, 25% improvement in brightness and 50% greater contrast. The G4 is also the first smartphone to make use of the Snapdragon 808 SoC with X10 LTE for the best balance of performance and power savings and Quick charge 2.0 (enabled with Quick Charge 2.0 certified adapter, sold separately). It has a user replaceable 3,000mAh battery.

Prices for the smartphone will be announced locally at the time of availability.
