Android 5.1 Soak test for the Moto X (2nd Gen) begins, new feature introduced

Motorola has began rolling out Android 5.1 Lollipop for the Moto X (2nd Gen) in a soak test to users in select countries around the globe. The update brings all the stability enhancements in Google's latest Android build, along with a new useful feature called 'Chop twice for Flashlight'. Motorola aims to eliminate the stress of opening a third party app just to turn on/turn off the flashlight on the smartphone with the new feature.

In addition to waving once to silence incoming calls, twisting twice to launch camera, or passing your hand above the screen for Moto display, Motorola still wants its Moto X (2nd Gen) users to do more. Chop twice for flashlight allows users to make a natural chopping motion (like when you're chopping an onion) to turn on the flashlight. Then simply chop twice again to turn it off.
